From the Superintendent

As we get ready for the start of school we need to remember safety of our children is a priority.  As students begin walking to their bus stop or school there will be more pedestrians out and about.  Please use caution as we are driving the next few weeks.

Another safety issue is with our bus routes.  Unfortunately we have had to shorten some of our routes because of bridges in the county.  Any bridge that is marked 10 tons we cannot cross because our buses are heavier than this.  We are working with the county, tribe, and state to look at the bridge certifications.  Again this decision is not a fiscal decision but a safety issue.

With this, I wish everyone a safe and productive school year.
