Hi! This is the beginning of my 3rd year in the GMCS district. I have been teaching Gifted and Talented students for 11 year and I taught special needs students for 10 years before that. I am a native of New Mexico and have lived in Farmington, Grants, Las Cruses and Tucumcari. I received my teacher training and my Master's degree from NMSU. Teaching Gifted children is my passion and I am an active member in the New Mexico Association for the Gifted. I am also a member of the teaching sorority Delta Kappa Gamma. My husband works in Grants, NM. I two grown children, one who lives in Denver and one who is attending college in Las Cruces. I
