Mandatory Returning Substitute Orientation

For all Returning Substitutes for GMCS there will be an ESS Orientation that you will need to attend. It will be a two-hour Orientation. You only must attend one of these Orientations. Dates are listed below. August Pay Dates

If you are on a 203, 220 or 238 Day contract you will get paid Aug. 9th and Aug. 23rd---- If you are on a 188 or 190 Day contract you will get paid on Aug. 16th and Aug. 23rd--- Returning 188 and 190 day employees will not have insurance taken out until September.

Open House

Open House Dates

Every school within the district will be hosting an Open House. Including a District Open House

Services for Exceptional Students will be holding it’s second annual Summer Training Institute on July 22 – 26, 2019 at JFK Middle School

This is for all new and returning Special Education Teachers, GATE Teachers, and Special Education Instructional Assistants. The sessions take place daily from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Keynote Speaker: Dr. Andrew Egel, Autism Specialist from the University of Maryland – plus a special presentation for parents on the evening of July 26, 2019 from 6 – 8 PM in the JFK Auditorium.
